Normally japanese do not have tatoo. Because Tatoo is symbol of Yakuza. (japanese gang). Hot spring will not accept tatoo.
However, tatoo should not be treated like that.
Japanese should have more freedam.
I want to be a Japanese, but I want live my life with my way.

Could it be any more obvious?

Forensic science is a tool of the devil. If people can write me and demand that the self-cutting section of BME be removed because it's triggering, I demand that the police not run 666 plates because it gives schizophrenic murderers a reasonable “out” for cop killing. Or in my case, pedestrian killing (don't click that), because it makes me take photos in inclement whether while driving.

But really, what I'm most irritated about is that cops can have Satanic plates but I can not.

Oh yeah, and my truck has a boyfriend.

Green Beer Day

In the good news, I got caught in the middle of a medical communications collapse and apparently I am scheduled to have surgery to remove the tumor after all, but now in July. The bad news is that I'm in crazy pain and am pretty much physically exhausted from it by noon (even now, and it's early, I'm having a lot of trouble staying focused). That said, it just snowed again, which is nice, and probably indicates why I've been particularly sore. Sorry it's making me even slower than usual on posts and replies and so on.

The poorly drawn stencil that's a clickthrough on the picture is 100 DPI and sized exactly for Toronto signs. If you don't feel like making a stencil, you can print it on clear sticker paper.

Anyway. I'm crazy dizzy. I think I'm going to go for a walk and get some fresh air.

Street Art

So I got some messed up medical news (and that's the end of that story because I'm tired of this being complain-o-blog) so I smashed into a bunch of stuff with my truck, which was a lot of fun. I also made a new stencil. This is just a mockup photo. Feel free to knock it off if you like it (to get the size right for the signs in your area, just go up to a sign with a ruler and take a bunch of pictures of you holding the ruler up against it so you can get your stencil scaled correctly). Please send me a picure if you do it.

I mean really, what's worse — parking or ghosts?

Edit: In hindsight, I think it would make more sense if it said “cherries” or “pacman” or something that's dangerous to ghosts… But you could make a ghost one that fit over the parking “allowed” signs too…

Other than that, I ordered some cool gear from Phidgets today, and Jon and I are making good progress on some experimental servers for new features on BME… Anyway, I think I'm going to go make some supper (ack, it's late!) and prep tomorrow's edition of ModBlog's education column now.

I took that picture next to Phil's house…

Bleed

I made a three part stencil today while I was waiting for one of our new projects to build its data files… It's a picture of Håvve. I haven't made stencil in, oh, fifteen years and I think this turned out alright for a first attempt. Anyway, a giant update is uploading right now (for both the main site and the video site) that I'll uncompress in an hour or two, and ModBlog appears to be back online.
