I've been fiddling with the artwork for the CD. The back cover won't get done until I have a track listing of course, but here's what I have so far:

For those of you that are late to see this, there's still about a week to get your song to me (by October 31st). If you put it up as an MP3 file on a server, or email it to me, it will be considered for the compilation! All genres welcome!
The IAM CD is coming along REALLY well. There's been some amazing music contributed. The short-list of tracks that I have tagged for the CD probably fill up more than one CD, so I'm considering doing a double CD! Note: If you submitted a track but are not on that list, it doesn't mean you won't be on the CD, nor does being on the list guarantee you'll be on the CD… But it's 99% for sure you will be!
I really shouldn't read Antiwar.com — since I only have so much time though, I lean toward these “news compilation” sites. In the last half hour they've added stories about yesterday's US bombing of an Afghan hospital and about how the FBI is considering using torture when traditional means fail. The UN has condemned the US, the Muslim community has condemned the US, much of the international community is turning against the US, might as well add Amnesty International to that list I suppose. Boy, all this bombing hosptitals and talk of torturing confessions out of people is bringing a cheer to my lips. Doesn't it just make you want to blindly yell “You Ess Eh” over and over?
Email is running on the church boxes. Webmail is running on the church boxes. I have the member and minister forms all ready to go… … … but in moving everything around yesterday I don't seem to be able to upload any more. As soon as I hear back from Paul, all that will go online. Watch for it in the morning.
Now I'm off to dinner with Saira and Michael and Rachel.
PS. I went for a walk and ran into lots of people… Damien from Tattoos.com, and some people I didn't know that recognized me, and then a Maori guy who was asking about my ears… He wanted to know (among other things), “eh mate, do those help you get the babes?”
I told him that with the kind of babes I liked, it sure helped. The conversation sort of reminded me of Office Space (the movie):

Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man, two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I had a million dollars I could hook that up, cause chicks dig a dude with money.

Lawrence: Well the kind of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me would.
