Project started…

I delivered my Sterling to John at The Fiberglass Workshop today, so hopefully work will start very soon. In the photos below are my Sterling, John’s Diablo VT replica (on a stretched Fiero chassis with a Caddy V8), a tube-chassis Countach replica, and a Ferrari 355 replica (also on a Fiero).

Wow that VT is simply awesome. Love the paint job on it.

Can’t wait to follow the saga of the Sterling. Its going to be a great car once done.

  3. will there be plexiglas covers over the headlights?
I know you’ve mentioned that you’ll be keeping the kit true to the original. Will you make any exceptions?

I had no idea there was such a kit car following! I recall a company down here in the northern end of town : Classis Motor Carriages or something like that. Went out of business a while ago. Maybe you’ve heard of them?

Johnny – The paint job was orange metalflake — way better than the photo makes it look.

Scienkoptic — CMC bought up Fiberfab, one of the biggest US kit car companies if not the biggest. They ended up collapsing in scandal though…

Wow Shannon, that's really annoying! What is it, 1997 on Geocities? Retroweb is NOT cool!
