If you would like to enjoy this hard to photograph image of an ice carving of the Taj Mahal, then just keep on staring. If, on the other hand, you would like to enjoy the sort of potty humor that a six year old might create at the end of a fun day of skiing and perhaps having the occasional “watch out where the huskies go, and don’t you eat that yellow snow” moment, then you ought to click “CONTINUED” for an animation that I thought would be better off not being put on the entry page of the blog.
Here it is in all it’s glory… POO HAIR!

Seems to be just as bad as getting a dog-doo snow cone stuffed into your right eye, or you other eye. Now I’m hungry for pancakes.
Oh my. Now THAT was hilarious!!!
Hey Shannon – I’ve been inspired by your DIY rotoscoping using pencil and am really enjoying using the software for stuff like the above.
I have a question though – what are you using to get your videos into pencil? Do you have a good program that converts the videos into a series of bitmaps?
may I ask how you turn the pencil-videos (flash etc.) into gifs? do I need a special program for this?
I have just started experimenting with my new tablet and it IS fun and time-consuming ;-)
Jared – I use this free tool, and then convert those JPG images into PNGs with a Photoshop batch action.
Mona – For that I use Photoshop, but there are lots of free tools out there.
thanks – I didn’t realize it would accept PNG files (the documentation only says bitmap I think…)
SUPER video converter (a great free multi-format converter you should check out) converts videos to PNGs.
