Well, I’m off to Cuba now!

I’ve got to shut down now, as I’m taking the keyboard from this computer along with me. I’m using Caitlin’s eeepc and a memory stick to work on the book while I’m gone, but I can’t type properly on the little tiny keyboard. Gotta get everything written down — our immortal soul is nothing but the stories we tell and are told of us. Even the effects of the most glorious deeds disappear in time, but stories remain. So maybe I will make a small attempt to leave a story.

  1. Have a nice time away Shannon.

Don’t forget that we are also the stories others tell about us. That makes you damn near immortal.

  4. My sentiments exactly, couldn’t put it better. I’ve always believed that the only way to live on is in the memories of others. You must leave your mark, even in the smallest way.

Wow Shannon, that's really annoying! What is it, 1997 on Geocities? Retroweb is NOT cool!
