Obviously someone didnt want anyone to steal the tree.
Hey, we need those Securitree locks in Michigan! The last five years or so we’ve been having serious problems here with people stealing trees, often from right alongside the major highways. People cut them down and sell the wood.
I was thinking something more like ‘Sid Vicious Tree’…
