I posted this on my kit car blog, but it was just too amusing not to mention here as well. I don’t know if it’s ignorance or irony. My own kit car by the way has the body re-mounted, and the electrical system was just redone… slowly but surely it’s coming along.

Bolex makes good 16mm film cameras…but I am not sure about the watches
By the way, apparently this is being blamed on the print shop.
So if I want to buy this car do I need a money order in US/Nigerian funds?
Can’t wait to see some updates on your car.
So where’s the Swing and the Barbecue?
There is a car audio store near my office. They have a storefront that has large decals listing the products they sell. One of them is BLAPKUNT.

That doesn’t cover the obvious: that’s not a Porsche. Might have a porsche engine.
Yeah, I’ve never been a fan of putting marque labels on replicas (let alone the Laser 917, which is “inspired by” rather than a real replica)… It just looks silly. Kit cars and limited production DIY vehicles are great for what they are — no need to pretend to be something else.
I knew a guy in High School who drove a Porsche 944. When he wrecked it, He bought a Firebird and decked it out as a Machevelli. He went and bought authentic Ferrari emblems and other crap. I never saw the point in it. It still looked like a firebird. What happened to your Porsche. I really dug the Camo paintjob.
@4- I had a BLAUPUNKT stereo in my 1985 chevette, man what a car….
i just bought my car! a 1971 karmann ghia in beautiful condition, but i’m going to restore it fully and put a porsche engine in it! yay for cars!
