Caitlin and I braved the Toronto blizzard this morning…
…and went out for breakfast and to pick up supplies to make a few sheets of gingerbread house dough. I can’t wait for tomorrow when Nefarious and I will assemble it (after tons of sledding and/or skating), and then on Tuesday we’ll decorate it, but here’s the cardboard stencil I made. It’s relatively complex so I hope I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew with this design.

oh my LORD its amazing outside! i’m loving all this snow. i’m going sledding tonight for sure! i just took the nicest walk and leap and scramble through the dundas west area.. amazing! hope you enjoy it.
That is going to be an awesome gingerbread house. I can’t wait to see it finished.
Looks like you have a lot of gingerbread to cook today! Good luck, can’t wait to see how it turns out.
The house is together and looks good — tomorrow we decorate it and I’ll post pictures then.
that house looks great! and the blizzard was crazy! I live in St. Catharines, so 1 hour away from Toronto, and we got so much snow!!
I can’t wait to see it! I’ve tried to play the role of gingerbread architect a few times and have always had pretty crappy results. There was a gingerbread construction Food Network Challenge on the other day, and it made me want to try again.
ahh, i live right around the corner from there. i love sitting on the bridge & watching trains go by
