Nefarious and I made a clock today since other than the stove and microwave, we don’t have one downstairs. I put it together and she painted the numbers..
I will probably still do a repaint of it, leaving her numbers but adding a picture of some sort. I’ve decided that I’m going to line the letters so they hover “above” the painting, and then I’m going to paint one of my lizardy guys looking at his watch, with the hands of the clock being the hands of his watch… I’ll post the finished version in a couple days.
Update: We added the background this morning (and are now off to go ice skating to celebrate)…

It’s so cute how she’s only just taller than the painting :) very awesome clock, way better than those plastic big ones
Once again shannon, amazing work, I love your style. Oh and just a quick question (even though I can imagine Your sick of hearing about bme) Im opening up a studio and clothing store here in Australia soon and was wondering once everything returns to normal and you have some time, would you be able to do some pieces for me to exhibit in my store? I didnt know any other way to contact you with all the IAM and BME lockdowns, and thought Id just drop it here and see if you notice :) As always, good luck and never give up, because none of us will either.
she is lucky girl:o)
Has anyone ever told you your style is like The Simpsons’ meets Where the Wild Things Are?
That looks amazing! I love how it’s actually his watch. Aaaand that Nefarious is barely the size of the painting!
