Shannon Larratt is Zentastic

I just spent over an hour in traffic to get a few blocks. By the time I was stuck in it, I couldn't get out. It really, really, really sucked. I don't know why I don't take Jon Cobb's advice and move to an island and spend the rest of my life eating oranges on a beach. Arrrrgh!

And don't get me started on the air show — I got buzzed by an F-18 every couple minutes in that traffic jam. Sure, I appreciate military hardware on a technical level, but given the choice, I'd rather invest the tax money in schools. I don't believe that Canada is, was, or ever will be in danger of invasion from anyone but the United States, and really, I don't see us nuking NYC. End corporate and corporate-militarty subsidies and put the money into education and environmental conservation instead.

Oh, and yesterday I decided to punch myself in the gut a couple times by first watching the Surviving Katrina documentary and then the latest “What really happened” 9/11 documentary. It just makes humans look so stupid. History will not be kind to our generation and the massive mismanagement we've overseen of our planet and our peers.
