The images below are actually of a navel undergoing some heavy play… For those of you who want heavier play there are pix of this navel (and others) being stuffed full of matchheads and ignited in the fireplay section of BME/HARD (“don't try this at home”).
"The President has been unable to produce evidence that this war was fought over weapons of mass destruction. It is not too late for him to prove that it was not fought over oil. That can be done by returning control of the oil to the Iraqi people."
Now, unfortunately Kucinich probably doesn't have a chance next to warmongers like Howard Dean who have promised to increase military spending, but I wanted to mention one thing. As you know, Bush has asked for $87 billion more for the war on Iraq (for now). As a point of trivia, if that money was spent domestically instead it could:
- Solve the school budget problems in every community in America.
- Provide health insurance for every uninsured American child for the next fifteen years.
- Feed every child that dies of hunger worldwide for the next seven years.
So do you really think that Bush, Dean, Clinton (what, you thought this was a Democrat vs. Republican thing?), and the rest of the warmongering Presidents and Presidential-hopefuls are making the right decision? Are the above items really less important than war? Apparently most people think so, which is sad.
