OK, the translated Russian version of the story at Pravda is rather odd: US President Implicated in Sex Scandal? (here's a domestic version). To be honest, it's way too bizarre to tell clearly, but here's a quick summary:
Three people tried to kidnap Margie and her husband. She was polite, but called the police. The police let them go and harassed her instead. She claimed that George Bush had been raping her and racially abusing her for some time, aided by the FBI (who were drugging her). She also claims that after Bush raped her, the FBI agents did as well to "cover it up". Bush and/or the agents may have raped the husband as well.
Now, she's representing herself in court, so I think it's pretty damn safe to say that she's a kook… However, I'm not totally writing this off yet, as the government does admit that she is an ex-girlfriend of Bush's, and that the parts of her story that can be independently verified have been.
And I also realized reading this that as freaky and inhuman as it sounds, it is a crime that has been committed over and over and over by leaders in power around the world. Why would the West be immune to this sort of extreme personal weakness?
(Still, if I was wagering, I'd wager the story's not true…)
