Doctored photos

When BMEshop puts an item up for sale, we either draw a picture (like we do for shirts), or take photos of the actual items (like we do for jewelry). Strangely enough, not all companies do this. I was browsing through alphasylum's page (because there were just some complaints filed about their customer service on RAB), and clicked on their plugs.

I saw a picture of some sparkle plugs that didn't look quite right… almost like an optical illusion. I don't have a good explanation as to why — maybe it's crooked jewelry, maybe they doctored the photo, or maybe it's just in my head — but here's what I found:
