Please, I’ve worked for my ‘stuff’ and I do not like theves one bit! Charity is another matter, and I do give. However, condoning stealing from others is not right.

wow, I dont know the meaning behind this kids stealing other than he has a taste for the finer things in life! what a cop out, work for it then. Hes just robbing people of their livelyhoods. Just a spoilt brat. If someone took my tools I couldnt afford to keep going.

What shore doesn’t have those things?
We used to joke that beach was where those things (tampon applicators) went to spawn. Hypo needles… Bales of pot..Human carcasses…

In the last three years I’ve disposed of things I don’t need. I’ve realized my life was cluttered with material things. I have very little that I own that I place any value on. Most things I place value on are the tools to do my job. When someone has helped themselves to my tools they are robbing me of a livelihood – a way to make a living. I look forward to day I live someplace where I don’t get killed just to find that I ain’t got anything to take.

“Own nothing it would grieve you to give to another.” What about things that you yourself don’t own? For my oldest son’s 5th birthday I bought him a bicycle. I was a single Mom, and I couldn’t afford to give my kids many nice things. I saved 4 months for the 85 bucks it cost me. He had it two weeks and some rotten shit stole it from our front steps when he came in to tell me he had just lost his 1st tooth. It was literally left for two minutes when it was taken. Try and explain that kind of zen thinking to a devastated 5 year old. I can’t stand thieves. Sorry, I wish that boy well, but he’s no hero to me.

Good eye for toxicity! I was surprised that no busy-body “won’t somebody please think of the children” person hasn’t pulled out all the poison berries that dot the shoreline.

The shore also had used diapers and used tampons that particularly disgusting people couldn’t be bothered to put in the abundant garbage cans.

i might be OK with stealing from a corp., or government….only to an extent.
but from people, families, small biz, etc? fuck no.
he should just ask if he needs something.

I;m glad you feel that way. I wish I could say the same.
The time someone stole a piece of equipment I needed… I couldn’t do my job. I almost lost everything. Those people didn’t offer their stuff up to be taken. A part of me marvels at the guile of ‘Colton’, I’d love to go hop in a plane and fly it somewhere. The cost is prohibitive. maybe I should steal one?
I’ve been ripped off a few times and not once was it some material shit that I could live without. Stuff I needed to make a living. I don’t agree, not one bit.
