It’s super easy to carry, I usually just leave it screwed on if I am walking great lengths with it. It’s great for doing weird things, like getting an upside-down shot of yourself hanging from something (trees, jungle gyms, etc). It’s also nice because it eliminates most camera shake, even if you just prop it up against your body for a little extra support. It doesn’t interfere with tripod rules (like at museums, zoos, etc.) that ask you to register or stop by at a different time – and that’s probably the only gripe I have – is that it is not a little longer. But I give it an ‘A’! =)

Most people would rather not live in the city, but there are more “opportunities” there. I still think it could easily be the other way around, depending on your perception of “opportunity”.

I’ve been considering a C3 Vette too…I remember the blue one you had awhile back, that thing was ballsy looking! The difference in performance between the early “bumper car” C3s and some of the later smog-equipment-crippled ones is staggering…but they all look pretty good. Luckily small practically blocks and SB performance parts grow on trees!

I am sure you will love it, we’ve really enjoyed using it, if for nothing other than the fact that it’s HD and small as a mouse.

Your idea of recording a reading cover-to-cover reminds me of the “Videotape” track on the latest Radiohead album.

I always imagined that it was inspired by Thom Yorke’s own balancing act of having children and confronting mortality.

“When I’m at the pearly gates
This’ll be on my videotape
My videotape
My videotape”
