1. I’ve never in my life wanted children, I’ve always loved them, but liked the option of giving them back to a responsible party when done with them. Reading your blog over the past couple years has been the only thing that has ever even partially made me question my choice about wanting one. The adoration you have for your daughter, the way you raise her, and the absolute brilliance she displays and your way of nurturing it are an inspiration.

2. I really enjoyed your paintings, I’d love to see you do some large scale murals around a city. But hopefully we get to see some new works from you soon.

I’ve missed your painting, and was wondering when you would continue. That will make a wonderful piece!

There’s a handy contraption that you can add to your basketball hoop so you that don’t end up chasing the ball around. It’s the Spalding Back Atcha Ball Return – returns frees throws, works quite well. Relatively cheap and available at Walmart etc.

Weird! In an attempt to make room for all the holiday crap I pulled our tent out of the closet. Chris then set it up in the backyard and Alex and friends stayed and played ALL day. It’s destroyed of course but they had fun.

I love how imaginative Ari is and how much you support her imagination! That’s fabulous :)

On a completely unrelated note, a few weeks (months?) ago you posted that you had watched a movie based on Elizabeth Bathory. My friend and I were discussing her over dinner last night and I mentioned that you had seen a film about her but that I was unable to track it down anywhere, including netflix. Where did you find the movie? I would love to see it for myself!
