My Sonett costs me about US$100/yr to insure and I’ve got a high agreed value on it with Haggerty! Call them and a few of the other classic car insurers for rates — not GEICO, State Farm, etc.

I’ve got a 1967 Model 96 with the two-stroke engine it it.

I sold my ’73 Sonett III back in 2005 to buy something a tad more modern.

Look into a Weber Carb if that thing still has the original Ford on it.

The dream is still a two-stroke Sonett II. Best of both worlds.
