I have had employers request I shave mine off, telling me I can only have a mustache and then telling me how to trim it as well. I have refused jobs, even in this past year, that have required me to shave, not that I’m hung up on it as much as I feel I am well groomed and presentable the way I am. We need to become more accepting and less military in appearance requests.
