The landings are probably hard to see without passes. The launches anyone can go watch free. You can’t sit in the stands to watch without passes, but you can just join all the other people along the canal and watch from a mile or two away. Don’t worry. It’s close enough.

Never seen a launch in person, but when my uncle worked at NASA he got us passes for landings a couple times. Even though they were only coming home, it was still pretty moving.

Never seen one live… closest to live was seeing the shuttle launch on IMAX… Even with just that I almost started sobbing in the theatre :)

You ever go see a launch in person? If not, it’s worth the trip. Shuttles aren’t as exciting as the Apollo launches, but still worth the trip.

I was watching a program last night about the moon landings, interesting stuff but do you think they ever did get there or was the whole thing just a hoax?
