Ari’s only 5 (well, almost 6) and the mural isn’t overly involved, so if she did decide she hated it…hopefully that’s not for a long time. And by that point she will be old enough to wield a paint roller herself. I’m just grateful that the stickers she was given for Christmas weren’t Disney Princess, that would have been a certain recipe for short term disaster.

However, it reminds me of when I was around her age and my parents did a mural on my wall. By the time I was 16 or so I had really outgrown it and when it was painted over I felt extremely, extremely guilty.
