Read her the hobbit! I think I read it when I was like 8 or 9 and then re-read it again in high school before reading the other 3 books. It’ll back up your profile from Firefox, including passwords, and it’ll handle Thunderbird too. (In case that’s what you use for an email client.)

I can’t remember how old I was when we started, but I know we finished Return of the King around my 8th birthday. I think he must have started when I was about 5 or 6.
