Man I have read this blog for two years and I love you and your family. The way you threat Ari is phenomenal. Unfortunently not every kid is going to get that much education, activites, and most of all love. So much bad things happening around the world, it is great to read this blog and see that there is love in this world after all. I consider you guys as the carnation of love which is the greatest and the most passable emotion of human beings. It might need tears and blood, but it seems to be worth of it.

You both really do need to keep in mind however, that some children in the system are a handfull and you need to be prepared for that. Also, you are “on call” 24/7 meaning temp children may be dropped with you day or night. It can be very stressful unless you’re given a long term child in need.

He’s at our house every day and I like him more than all the other kids in the neighborhood. The one we first met had to go to juvenile detention, had a sweet soul but too much anger to be parented traditionally. I commend you and Caitlin for considering doing this because I cannot think of any situation where loving people are more needed. You guys *are* merrymakers. :)
