I remember browsing in a toy store with my friends just after the Tarzan toy was released. We must have been like 17 or 18 and completely lost it in the store. I’m amazed we didn’t get kicked out because we were causing havoc and couldn’t leave masturbating Tarzan alone. We couldn’t figure out how it got past all the market testing and meetings, etc., normally required for toys and got released without SOMEBODY vetoing the doll on grounds of obscenity! It was a source of MUCH amusement when the doll got recalled a few weeks later.

Baby Laugh-a-Lot looks/sounds like she on a strict diet of human souls. Scary. It’d be a great Halloween costume.

Baby Laugh-a-Lot looks like it came out of a Stephen King novel. She laughs, and then she bites your eyeballs out. And laughs some more.

I have a feeling that “Baby Laugh-a-lot” ended up bitting the faces off a lot of young children’s in its day. Of course that could just be me.

I got a drum for christmas when I was five or so. My dad promptly took out his pocket knife and cut the head out of it. Told me I could use the rest of it to keep my tinkertoys in.

It seems like many toys are destined for a short life and then off to the landfill. What a waste!

Seems like some of the best toys are things that initiate a child’s imagination. I can’t imagine these doing either.

The masturbatory tarzan is amusing though. thanks for sharing.
