There are so many aftermarket things for it, you can’t go wrong! That and the production run was so long on VW, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding parts.

They can be converted to run on alcohol (so I could have a still and make my own fuel), or even run on steam, but they’re a very nice engine as is.

The width of the door sill is in part a design issue because of the shape of the car, but it also makes getting into a low car much easier. You sort of sit down on the sill, flip your legs over the side, and then slide in/out.

This car is not built for top speed, so it’s a pretty normal car in that area, but it’s quite peppy because it’s very light.

The door/roof is operated by a hydraulic pump (but can be manually opened as well).

I’ve always been turned off by the wide mating surfaces that I see in Kit car door areas. Maybe in the case of your car, this functions as some sort of
step.

What is the top speed of the Sterling?

Is the door/roof/windsheild manually/electrically raised?

She can swim about half way across the pool, and can dive and touch the bottom with her hands… New skills daily!

Now if you put a diesel in it and ran it off old bacon grease…..

Actually, I’m going to be putting on my inspector Clouseau outfit to drive around in one of these death traps: https://zapcars.com/xebra-electric-truck

(he also owned a real porsche RSK Spyder that he sold for $50K!?!?)

So some Shelby 5 Slots?

A car seat will fit in the passenger seat, but that means that it’s one girl only! Caitlin or Nefarious… One for rides to school, one for dates.

Ugh, it’s got those Pontiac Firebird rims. With those, all you’ll need next is the baby moon black centers and the swishing red LED array. What king of rims would be proper for that car?
