even though it’s “dark” in space, the sun is still blasting light on everything (unless a moon or planet is in the way), correct? Its only dark because there is nothing out there for the light to hit, for you to see. So wouldnt the eyes not be dialated? Not that it matters, but now I’m actually curious.

to photograph your work, i’d probably check your camera’s white balance and adjust it accordingly for the light you’re shooting under. if you’re using a flash (which you probably should/are), set the white balance on the camera to “flash,” and if at all possible, don’t hit it directly with the strobe — aim it upwards or diagonally so as to light it indirectly instead of slapping it in the face with a big burst of white.

i’m no pro for photographing artwork, but i hope that helps! those owls are damn cute.
